How to enhance the tensile strength of high-precision cold drawn pipes

The main market for high-precision cold drawn tubes is the construction weighing industry. However, this kind of industry also has relatively high requirements for the tensile strength of cold-drawn steel pipes. So how can we enhance the tensile strength of cold-drawn steel pipes?
1. Eddy current testing can be used instead of hydraulic testing. The size of the test pressure or eddy current flaw detection comparison sample should comply with relevant regulations. The mechanical properties of steel are important indicators to ensure the performance of high-precision cold drawn pipes, which depend on the chemical composition and heat treatment system of the steel. In the steel pipe standards, tensile properties, hardness and toughness indicators are specified according to different usage requirements, as well as high and low temperature properties required by users.
2. Tensile strength (σb) of high-precision cold-drawn pipes: The force (Fb) endured by the sample when it is broken during the stretching process is the stress (σ) obtained by the original cross-sectional area (So) of the sample, which is called the tensile strength (σb), and the unit is N/mm2 (MPa). It represents the ability of a metal material to resist damage under tension. If the force decreases, the upper and lower cold drawn tubes should be distinguished. The unit of cold drawn tube is N/mm2 (MPa).
